Information Technology Operations Manager

Role overview:
OpenMethods is seeking an IT Operations Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs. The successful candidate will have improved skills, proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.
The IT Operations Manager’s role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. Areas of responsibility will include the infrastructure such as Servers, Networks, Firewalls, Desktops and Laptops along with all other hardware that is used directly in the operations of the IT Department in support of the organization. This individual will plan, coordinate, design and execute IT-related activities of the organization, as well as provide direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department. The IT Operations Manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This person will implement policies, procedures, and best practices related to the IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and data centers.
- Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of all IT systems.
- Manage hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
Service Management
- Implement and monitor IT service management processes (e.g., incident, problem, and change management).
- Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and minimize service downtime.
- Manage the service desk and provide support to internal and external stakeholders.
Security and Compliance
- Ensure that IT systems and operations comply with relevant security policies, standards, and regulations.
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect against threats, such as data breaches or malware.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
Vendor and Supplier Management
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure that vendors meet their obligations.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT operations professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
- Foster professional development, training, and certifications for the team.
- Ensure the team is equipped to handle current and future IT needs of the organization.
Budgeting and Cost Management
- Develop and manage the IT operations budget.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources and monitor IT expenditure.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through optimization of resources, outsourcing, or new technologies.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and continuity of services in the event of an outage or disaster.
- Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery procedures to ensure effectiveness.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor IT operations.
- Generate regular reports for senior management, providing insight into the status of IT services, incident resolution, and overall system performance.
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT operations with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Assess new technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and innovation.
Compliance with Industry Standards
- Ensure that IT operations comply with industry standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001) and best practices.
- Implement governance frameworks to maintain consistency and reliability across IT services.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Prioritize the work that is assigned.
- Handle helpdesk end user support
- Check system logs, backup logs, firewall logs.
- Scripting PowerShell / PHP / MySQL
- Responding to system alerts
- Document Changes in Jira and FreshService.
- Purchase approved Products, Software, and Services
- Review CVE Postings for relevant issues
- Apply software updates and security patches.
- Other duties as determined by management.
Requirements:
- Experience operating systems Linux, Windows, MacOS. VMware
- Experience with Authentication systems, Active Directory, Azure AD, SSO, SAML
- Experience with Meraki Routers, Dell Servers, Netgear Switches, Synology, Dell SAN
- Experience with CO-Location, Remote Workers
- Experience Administering O365, Active Directory, Jira, Bitbucket, Miro, Splunk, Zoom, MDM solutions and Patch Management solutions
- Networking knowledge, switching, routing, IPSec, DNS
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
- Familiarity with change control processes
- Familiarity with current industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to document and communicate effectively.

Role overview:
We are looking for an experienced Sales account executive to join our Sales department. You will act as a liaison between our sales team and our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Sales account executive, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should also act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sale process from beginning to the end while working with leaders across our team to ensure our organization hits our sales and revenue goals. Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company-client relationships at a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify new potential customers.
- Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally.
- Land: build process and funnel for manual top-down reach out, onboarding, activation, and expansion opportunities
- Evangelize the product and personally help close deals.
- Work collaboratively across teams - including Operations, Product and Marketing
- Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet sales objectives.
- Assist in the development of the sales plan. Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, and financial forecasting.
- Monitor and report on sales performance analytics in order to provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.

Requirements:
- Hands on experience in Customer Success
- An ability to understand clients needs and to increase customer engagement
- Solid knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)

Senior Application Developer
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements, design, develop, test and deploy various client-servers, web-based software applications.
- Coordinate the design of logical and physical database structures.
- Prepare the Functional/Technical design documents to meet the System requirements, as needed.
- Gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements.
- Perform software integration and testing, and develop enhancements, modifications/debugging and develop custom components; and coordinate user training and technical documentation as needed.
- Design and create new customer experience applications.
- Update/redesign/scale current platform.
- Participate in code review.
- Responsible for providing solutions from existing application in delivering solution.
- Travel to various unanticipated locations in the United States to interact with clients and train end users for short or long term assignments.

Job Requirements
MS or Foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field + 1 year of relevant IT experience using .Net Core, C#.Net, SoapUI, Webservice, DBx.DB2, SQLServer, WebAPI, Ajax, and nUnit Technologies.
